We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to work closely with the school SENCo and Deputy SENCo. This role is crucial in attending annual review meetings and managing the completion of EHCP paperwork in accordance with statutory guidance. You will play a key role in supporting the review processes of Education, Health, and Care Plans for all learners within the school, ensuring compliance with procedures and timely submission of documents.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Attend EHCP Reviews across the school to take accurate notes and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Prepare documentation prior to meetings in liaison with the line manager and circulate relevant documentation in a timely manner.
  • Keep updated with the latest procedures and paperwork for Annual Reviews.
  • Liaise with Local Authority officers to ensure the use of the latest documents and procedures.
  • Arrange meeting rooms, ensuring all specific requirements for attendees are met, and circulate invitations.
  • Live-typing/editing during meetings to ensure all documentation, including attendance forms, is complete.
  • Record suggested changes to EHCPs based on advice from meetings and professional reports.
  • Copy and distribute completed Annual Review documentation securely to all relevant parties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of handling multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Good confident phone manner.
  • Proficiency in managing official documentation and compliance with statutory guidelines.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders including Local Authority officers, parents/carers, and medical professionals.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in relevant areas.
