We are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their corporate team, who provide bookkeeping, forecasting, accounts preparations, and tax return services to their rapidly growing, diverse range of UK and international clients.

Based out of their main office in Cambridge, the role of Accounts Semi-Senior will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Undertaking accounts preparation assignments, including the accompanying tax computations.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns where appropriate.
  • Reviewing team members' work and own work before passing to the senior on the job.
  • Using initiative to resolve any client queries with minimal input from senior / manager.
  • Training / mentoring more junior colleagues

To be considered, you must -

  • Be at least AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified.
  • Show that you have experience of working in an accountancy practice preparing sets of accounts to UK regulations.
  • Have an up to date working knowledge of VAT
  • Have experience of using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks Online
  • An element of client facing experience
