The company has recently launched a new centre in Cambridgeshire and they are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are keen for a new challenge in the training and education sector. 

Job Title: Plumbing and Gas Tutor

Position: Full-time, 35 hours, Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm

Role type: Permanent

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver training and assessments to apprentices and existing plumbing and gas engineers.
  • Prepare and shape course curriculum.
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team of assessors to provide high-quality learning experiences.
  • Engage with students, supporting and encouraging them on their journey to becoming skilled professionals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Level 3 Plumber/Gas Engineer with CCN1 and CENWAT
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good level of English, Maths, and IT.
  • Desire to continue professional development and obtain additional qualification.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and work well as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

  • Assessor Qualifications.
  • Previous experience working with apprentices.
