The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll have the autonomy to lead high-profile projects across the Leisure, Education, Commercial, Student Accommodation, and Infrastructure sectors. With project values up to £30m, you'll manage the full cost management lifecycle, ensuring excellence and value at every stage.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering cost planning, valuations, and cost reporting with precision and clarity.
  • Negotiating with contractors to achieve exceptional value for clients.
  • Acting as an Employers Agent and overseeing contract administration.
  • Building lasting client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The ideal candidate will bring expertise and enthusiasm to the role:

  • Proven track record in a PQS/Consultancy environment, with MRICS qualification preferred.
  • Confidence in managing projects independently from inception to completion.
  • Expertise in pre- and post-contract services.
  • Experience as an Employers Agent is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across sectors.
