Winner Recruitment are currently working with a well-established service provider who are part of a bigger organisation who are looking to recruit for a Business Development Manager within Facilities Management industry.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities related to hard services such as Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and building maintenance. The role focuses on driving growth by building relationships with potential clients, creating tailored services and negotiating contracts to meet the needs of a wide range of properties within a variety of sectors including commercial, retail, and the educational sector.

As a Business development manager, you must have experience of headhunting new business.

Responsibilities:

  • As a business development manager your role will require you to identify and develop new business opportunities in the hard services market within facilities management and attending face to face appointments
  • Your role will require you to develop and present proposals and bids for new business opportunities contracts ensuring competitive and profitable pricing
  • As a business development manager, you will analyse market trends and competitors to identify areas of growth and development whilst collaborating with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive business development strategy
  • Your role will require you to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients ensuring that you understand client requirements and tailor our proposals to suit the client's needs
  • You will serve as a point of contact for clients during the proposal, contract and service delivery phases ensuring you manage the clients' expectations ensuring that services delivered efficiently
  • As a Business Development Manager you will oversee the preparation of contract documentations, including T&C's, pricing and SLAs
  • You must work closely with the operational team to ensure clients expectations are met and you will monitor the contract performance
  • As a Business Development Manager you must meet and exceed business development targets, including revenue and profit margins

Candidate:

  • The relevant candidate must have experience within a business development role within hard services in the facilities management industry
  • As a Business Development Manager, you must be experienced in headhunting new business
  • You must have experience in negotiating contracts, putting proposals together, as well as preparing documentation which includes T&C's and SLA agreements
  • You must have good written and verbal communication skills
