Background and who we are

Moore Performance Limited (MPL) is an established and highly respected family run sports injury company. We currently have clinics in St Ives, Godmanchester and Cambridge.We are passionate about excellent customer service, and we are on track to meet our vision of being the number one provider of high-quality sports injury services in this area.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Therapist to join the team.

The post-holder will deliver a high-quality specialist service by providing expert clinical intervention, education and support to our clients.

We are looking for someone with the appropriate professional registration and who is excited about being part of this future. We will consider applications for people looking for both full-time and part-time roles.

Key purpose of the role and how success will be measured

Our purpose is to provide the best possible outcomes for patients. By expert evaluation and diagnosis of their issue(s); designing the most effective interventions and then effectively delivering the treatments.

Success is defined and measured purely in terms of positive patient outcomes. When we get this right the success of the business naturally follows.

Your performance in this role will be measured in terms of how you deliver these positive patient outcomes, namely:

1) Complete an agreed number* of appointments per week

2) Conversion ratio from initial assessment to treatment plan of 90%

3) Have a 95% arrival rate

4) An agreed number* of referrals asking for you specifically

5) An agreed number* of product sales

*As part of your induction to the business we will agree mutually acceptable but challenging targets that will be reviewed and updated at our weekly one-to-one sessions

Responsibilities (What Success Looks Like)

To ensure every patient achieves the best possible clinical, health and lifestyle outcomes, by

· Conducting clinical assessments

· Creating individual patient treatment and rehabilitations plans

· Delivering a range of treatments to the highest standard

· Providing some appointments outside the normal working day i.e. evenings and weekends to give opportunities for those that cannot attend during the normal workday

· Complying with all MPL policies (e.g. H&S, General Data Protection Regulations, etc.)

In addition to the client-facing appointments you will be involved in helping to develop the business by:

· Creating internal and external marketing materials (e.g. blog posts, health information reports, instructional videos, etc.)

· Organising and participating in workshops and events to showcase our services

· Promoting and selling our range of fitness merchandise

· Generating new business (you are expected to generate a significant proportion of your appointments by referrals from satisfied clients within 2 months)

Skills required

· Above average sports/physiotherapy skills that will be developed continuously

· World class communication skills that are developed continuously

· Happy to be held accountable and willing to be coached to improve every aspect of your role

· Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Ability to work under deadlines and on schedule

· Ability to plan work so that it is completed on time

Note - We have weekly One Hour Continuing professional Development to support you each week, In growing your skillset not only in patient care, But also in delivering outstanding Patient Experience.

Qualifications and Experience

· A minimum of BSc (Hons) or equivalent in a relevant profession (i.e. Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Osteopathy)

· Relevant registration & public liability insurance

· Current DBS Certificate

Location

· You will be required to work in MPL’s clinics in Cambridge, St Ives and Godmanchester

Your Compensation and working arrangements

· A competitive salary for 37.5 hours per week depending upon previous experience (pro rata for part-time employees)

· Flexible working hours by agreement dependent on the availability of our treatment rooms

· Access to the clinic’s services
