- The role involves overall responsibility for regional P&L, driving growth, and providing operational leadership for a workforce of over 100 employees, including manufacturing, sales, and HR.
- Candidates should have proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably with a technical, engineering, or scientific background, and ideally possess a relevant degree.
- The salary package ranges from £100,000 to £130,000, depending on experience, and includes a company car and bonus plan.
- International travel will be required, and applicants must either be commutable to Hastings or willing to relocate.
The Managing Director will be responsible for running UK, European & Middle Eastoperations, mainly at their UK facility in Hasting, but including Germany and other additional locations. International travel will be expected as part of position.The successful Managing Director will have overall responsibility for the UK, European & Middle East regional P&L, driving growth alongside operational leadership.
Youll have a proven track record as a Managing Director or similar senior leadership position, ideally with a technical, engineering or scientific background.

Design and drive business strategies, advise the board and implement business plans
Responsibility for regional P&L
Working for a manufacturer of engineering, technical and scientific equipment
Lead the EMEIA Senior Leadership Team and work in collaboration global leaders
Owning the regional budget
Drive Continual Improvement
Representing the company at public events and attending conferences
Commercially focused, interfacing with key strategic customers and vendors within the region
Promoting a positive working environment and driving company values across the EMEIA region
Office based in Hastings with international travel, East Sussex
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior leadership position or as a Managing Director, MD or similar
An engineering, technical, high tech or scientific background would be preferred
An engineering, technical or scientific Degree or similar would be advantageous
Experience managing similar size business (circa 100 employees), or multisite experience, international corporation, or looking to step up and build upon key leadership experience
Commercially focused, with the ability to engage with customers and vendors across the region
Experience developing and implementing strategic and business plans
International travel with overnight stays when needed
Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Commutable to Hasting, East Sussex or willing to relocate
