Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Post Room Assistant to join our busy team in St Leonards, Hastings. Conveyancing Direct Ltd is one of the top 10 Conveyancing Companies in England and Wales and a leading provider of conveyancing in our local area. We are looking to recruit a Post Room Assistant to join our busy team.Whether you are starting on your career path or already have administrative experience this position maybe for you.You will be joining a rapidly expanding customer focused company which is dedicated to progressing not only the business but the people within it.Duties include:
  • Dealing with DX post
  • Collecting morning post and post deliveries, following preparation and scanning processes
  • Distributing inbound documents
  • Manage miscellaneous post
  • Collect and prepare outgoing post ready for collection – all mail to be franked or stamped correctly
  • Scanning of documents, validating and saving to file ensuring they are complete and accurate
  • Ensure the Post Room runs efficiently and effectively
  • Manage the department mailbox and deal with any mail queries
  • Take receipt of stationary deliveries, unpacking and checking delivery note to goods received
Skills Required for a Post Room Assistant:
  • You will possess excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. Good time management, organisational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are also a must
  • Flexible attitude to working practices and demands
  • Previous experience in an admin role or office environment would be an advantage
  • Ability to work within a diverse team and under your own initiative is highly desirable
