Learning Support Assistant

This role is ideal if you have career aspirations in the field of teaching, psychology, social work, probation services, care or if you simply love working with children.

Are you motivated by supporting and helping children with additional needs?

We are looking for a commited Learning Support Assistant to work on-on-one with a small group of children between the ages of 11-16. This school caters for children and young people who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly autism and moderate learning difficulties. The majority of pupils are autistic and a significant number of pupils experience speech, language and communication difficulties and / or social, emotional and mental health difficulties and other complex SEN.

This role will give you essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting - career progression routes include SEN Teacher, Occupational Therapist and various Psychology routes.
