Engage Education is currently working with a Complex Needs provision in Bexhill who support children with language difficulties from 5 years - 16 years with Complex Needs. If you’re caring and patient and are looking to be welcomed into a supportive SEND schooling environment, then please apply.
This school is a total communication environment. This means they utilise a range of approaches that enable their pupils to succeed in their development of their communication skills. All of their staff, including those in non-child facing roles, are trained in sign-supported English.
About the role

Have experience or a passion to work with children with complex needs

Be confident in managing behaviour

Be able to demonstrate your ability to build professional relationships with children

Be able to support children who might be non-verbal, and have difficulty communicating

Have a fun but firm presence

Hold a UK driving licence and own a car
