Our client is an established manufacturing company who specialise in the production of interior and exterior building products and systems. They are currently looking for a LogisticsAdministrator to join their hardworking and dedicated team on a temp to perm basis.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in a similar role, be computer literate with strong experience of Microsoft 365, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good eye for detail.

As a LogisticsAdministrator you will be ordering stock and raw materials, making arrangements for the transportation of products, maintaining and preparing documents, completing weekly reports on stock expected, updating all purchase orders with acknowledgements and ISO admin tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Possess demonstrable experience in a Logistics/Administration role
  • Be computer literate with strong experience of Microsoft 365
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a positive, professional and friendly approach in telephone and email communications
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Be a team player

Your duties as a Logistics Administrator will include:

  • Making arrangements for the transportation of products
  • Ordering and control the stock of products (including the process of running the report)
  • Order raw materials as per request from the Managing Director
  • Updating haulage reports
  • Completing shipping information on the system
  • Monthly reporting of the position of product contracts, supplier increases/decreases and balance of resin project prices to the Directors
  • Weekly reporting of stock expected in the next working week (including chasing suppliers for confirmation)
  • Updating all purchase orders with acknowledgements, i.e. Expected delivery date, prices, delivery charge when received from suppliers
  • ISO admin tasks
  • Internal audits for ISO 9001:2015
  • Process goods coming in and book onto system

Salary:

£26,500 per annum

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
