My client is a very successful fit out & refurbishment contractor with multiple blue-chip clients. They have built a solid reputation in the industry by producing projects to a very high standard. They are well established and provide their services across all the UK.
Job role
They require an experienced 'Fit-out' Site Manager to work on multiple retail banking projects, initially across sites in Newport & Cardiff.
The projects will involve removal of back of house, ceilings, walls to bring the building up to a refreshed and modern standard as well as this there will also be some upper floor office fitouts.
Experience required
- Strong background in fit out and refurbishment (Retail banking or office fit outs preferred)
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certificates required. (Basic Scaffold Inspection Awareness would be a bonus)
- Must be able to conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
- Must be confident in conducting site & progress meetings
- Be able to manage a full site program to complete projects on time and to budget
- Motivate Sub-contractors and trades on site
- Produce regular and clear progress reports
- Experience of working in a live environment would be advantageous
