We are looking for a passionate and qualified Welsh Teacher to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students' academic progress and fostering a love for the Welsh language.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Welsh lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales across various key stages.
• Inspire students to appreciate the Welsh language and heritage through creative and interactive teaching methods.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing tailored support to help them excel.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities that celebrate Welsh culture and enhance student engagement.

About You
You will need to be a qualified teacher with a strong command of the Welsh language and a passion for education. The ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment while motivating students to reach their potential is essential.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialisation in Welsh.
• Experience teaching Welsh, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and effective assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire learners.
• A commitment to promoting linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and academic success.
