An excellent opportunity awaits as a QC Technician with the benefit of a 4-day work week!

A a QC Technician you will be responsible for verifying that production standards are consistently met and maintained before products leave site. This involves conducting inspections on random samples during production, identifying manufacturing defects, and accurately documenting and reporting findings.

Location - Cardiff

Salary - 25,252 per annum

Hours of work - 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday, Day shift 6am-4pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and approving final products.
  • Inspecting incoming raw materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, internal policies, and legal regulations for finished products.
  • Adhering to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Conducting in-process quality inspections and audits.
  • Documenting and escalating defects.
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformities.
  • Maintaining activity logs.

Key Skills

  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of technical drawings (desirable).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards (desirable).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using manual measuring tools such as Verniers, Protractors, and Micrometers (desirable).
  • A team player who is self-motivated and proactive.
