Audit Senior Job Vacancy

We are delighted to be representing a contemporary multi-office, regional accountancy firm in their search for an Audit Senior in St Neots to join their modern team and support the Audit Manager with the provision of audit and some general accounting matters for a portfolio of exciting clients.

This opportunity will suit someone who is ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or a finalist, with audit experience within an accountancy practice. You will be able to effectively communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way for clients and an elevated level of attention to detail will also be essential for this role.

You’ll likely be working already as a Senior or Semi Senior looking for an exciting new challenge. You’ll be ready to support the managers in creating a positive working environment, whilst ensuring the highest quality service is delivered. You’ll be able to accept autonomous responsibility to oversee projects to completion.

Job Purpose

  • Manage audits from planning to completion.
  • Prepare and review general accounts.
  • Support the Audit Managers to coach trainees and support with their learning and development.
  • Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met.
  • Monitor workflow of the team.
  • Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and support with company growth.
  • Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
  • Confident in networking to promote the department.
  • Playing an integral part in the efficiency of the audit team and championing the firm’s values within the team.
  • Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.
