Our fantastic client near St Neots is looking for a Sales & Business Development Executive to join their very busy team.  This is a brand-new role, with the focus of shaping the future in new business sales opportunities.  This would suit a versatile person who enjoys change & demonstrates adaptability, with a background in successful sales and business development.  Ideally you will come from a similar industry, however we are open to people from backgrounds which have cultivated transferrable skills.  This company is very focused on personal development and rewarding success.  

Working as part of a wider national sales department, responsibilities will include: 

  • Maintain and build satisfactory relationships with customers.
  • Pro-actively selling, maintaining, and expanding sales to new and existing customers.
  • Develop market growth through conversion of specifiers, end users to the company's range of products.
  • Maintain efficient sales order entry on all products using existing CRM system.
  • Ensure that all targets and KPIs are achieved.
  • Engage with end users to provide pull through of products.
  • Assist in the establishment of new product development.
  • Meet with customers as appropriate.
  • Monitor customer activity and report findings/results to the senior management team.

To be suitable for this role, you will have the following experience and skills: 

  • Be from a sales and/or business development background - you could be in a similar role in another company (such as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Account Manager, Sales Executive, Customer Service Sales etc.)
  • Superb customer service and high-level sales skills.
  • Be ambitious to develop yourself within the company by achieving success in your role.
  • Be self-motivated with bags of initiative.
  • Be comfortable in the office every day, Monday to Friday (as with any sales role, your responsibilities may take place off site or outside of working hours when required).
  • Previous use of CRM systems and MS Office. 
  • UK driving licence.
