2pm - 10pm Late Shift

We are recruiting for our Client in St Neots a Press Brake operator working on an Amada Turret Punch and 3m Brake Press/ Press Brake. The successful candidate will join a fast pace Acoustic Housing assembly operations team. Our Client has a busy order book and are currently expanding.

In this role you will be responsible for setting and operating the Sheet Metal Machinery to manufacture components for acoustic housing kits of various sizes. The position requires physical activity, including medium lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setting and Operating on Press Brake / Brake Press Amada Machines
  • Set and Operate Amada Turret Punch and 3m Press Brake for Sheet Metal Fabrication
  • Optimise machine settings for efficiency and precision
  • Perform routine maintenance and address basic machine issues
  • Sheet Metal Production
  • Produce high quality components for acoustic housing kits, adhering to technical specifications
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in assembly operations as needed
  • Handle materials and perform medium lifting
  • Work Closely with team members to meet production goals

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in setting and operating turret punches and brake presses / Press brakes
  • familiarity with Sheet Metal manufacturing processes
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine operation

Medium Lifting, maintaining active role in a physically demanding environment.
