Electrical Panel Wire Person - Electrical Fitter

  • Type: Permanent, immediate start available
  • Salary: Up to £32,448 PA DOE, with overtime available at 1.5 times the hourly rate
  • Location: Cambourne - St. Neots area (own transport required)
  • Working Hours: 39 hours per week, with a mid-day finish on Fridays
  • Free on-site car parking.

Long established, Special Purpose Machinery Manufacturer requires an Electrician Panel Wirer - Machine Wire Person / Electrical Fitter to assist in the building of their machinery.

In this interesting and varied "hands on" role you will be building control panels and wiring processing machinery. Both electrical and small amount of mechanical skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building, wiring control panels to electrical schematic drawings including cutting and fitting wire ducting and DIN rail.
  • Testing control panels in compliance with relevant documentation.
  • Performing fault finding on control panels.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Practical electrical wiring experience on processing machinery.
  • Extensive experience in panel building/wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
