Our client is a highly reputable regional chartered accountancy firm, a well-established business with a co-operative and supportive team of high calibre people.

They have a record of developing and promoting their staff, with a number of partners starting as trainees and progressing to Partner.

The Senior Partner has engaged our services to find an experienced Tax Manager to join as Senior Tax Manager.

This role would suit an ambitious tax professional who is looking to develop to a senior leadership post as this role is part of the firms’ succession plan to take over the Senior Partner.

In this regional post headquartered 30 mins from St Neots, you will oversee all sites, including meeting clients and team members when required, as the most senior tax professional in the firm.

You will be mentored by the current Tax Partner, a highly recognised figure in the sector, and manage your own client portfolio.

Your role as Senior Tax Manager/Partner Designate will see you assist other Partners by providing support to them and their clients, be the initial contact for advice to new customers,  and have a key involvement in the development of the business.

The work is varied but the majority of your time will be spent on delivering compliance, planning and advisory services for private clients, to include the capital taxes and Trusts.

As well as a healthy remuneration you will receive all the attractive benefits of a senior manager whilst working for a supportive, high-calibre team in a positive environment, and enjoy a healthy work  life balance.
