Our well established clients who specialize in large products are looking for an individual who is interested in developing their skills working in their busy printing department as a Production Operative.

Full Training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate will have the knowledge required to fully integrate into their team. Based on the outskirts of St Neots, your own vehicle is essential for this position due to the site location.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operating large format Printers
  • Understanding job specs and ensure all materials are correct and present for undertaking tasks.
  • Undertaking routine maintenance and housekeeping on the machines.
  • Ensuring the printed products are of a high quality by undertaking thorough inspections and reporting defects to management.
  • Prioritising work based on the defined schedule and liaising with team members to ensure products are completed and ready to be passed to the relevant teams on time and to specification.
  • Complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures

Skills / Experience

  • Good attention to detail and exceptional accuracy are required.
  • Good levels of organisation are vital.
  • Integration with MIS system (Training Provided)
  • Must be a good team player with great communication skills.
  • Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required.
  • Excellent time keeping

Hours, pay & benefits

Monday to Friday

06:00 until 14:00 / 14:00 until 22:00 on weekly rotation

Up to £27k DOE
