As a Supply Teacher, your responsibilities may include:ā€¢ Delivering lesson plans provided by the absent Teacherā€¢ Leading the classroom with high-quality lessonsā€¢ Assessing and monitoring student behaviourā€¢ Proactive approach to engaging students to complete their lesson tasksā€¢ Adapting to different environments and following Safeguarding practicesā€¢ Participating in professional development opportunities when requiredQualifications:To be successful as a Supply Teacher, you should have:ā€¢ QTS (or at least 1-2 years of supply teaching experience)ā€¢ A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related fieldā€¢ Appropriate teaching certification or licenceā€¢ Experience teaching at the Secondary levelā€¢ Adaptable and friendly demeanourā€¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
