Reed Finance are working with a local Staffordshire client to appoint a Financial Controller. My client is seeking a qualified Financial Controller as the No 1 on site reporting to a group director. This role involves producing monthly accounts, statutory audits, and maintaining account ledgers.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing and someone who can work independently and has a keen eye for detail.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare monthly accounts
  • Annual statutory audit.
  • Manage tasks including raising invoices, handling shipping documents, and reconciling stock movements.
  • Reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
  • Cash and Banking
  • Budgeting, Forecasting
  • Reporting pack
  • Capex
  • Projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing
  • Ability to work independently and initiate tasks.
  • Excellent numeracy skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented approach.
