What you'll do:
As a Management Accountant, your role will be diverse and engaging. You will be responsible for producing detailed operational reports for customers while also keeping track of site statistics, ratios, and KPI's. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you delve into operational and financial data, explaining trends and justifying expenditure levels. You'll also assist managers by developing new reports and supporting various projects. Your role will extend to preparing budgets and forecasts, maintaining accurate time and attendance records, producing weekly accounts, performing payroll cover duties, reconciling balance sheets, and producing period-end reports. A key aspect of your role will involve analysing weekly labour utilisation by activity.
- Producing and developing operational reports for customers
- Producing site statistics, ratios and monitoring KPI's
- Analysing operational and financial data to explain trends and justify expenditure levels
- Assisting managers by developing new reports, supporting projects and other capital expenditure
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Keeping accurate reports of Time and Attendance, producing weekly accounts and performance analysis, payroll cover, balance sheet reconciliation and production of period end reports
- Analysing the sites weekly labour utilisation by activity
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role, you bring a unique set of skills that make you stand out. Your ability to work accurately under pressure allows you to meet deadlines without compromising on quality. You have experience with Oracle systems and Time & Attendance systems which are essential for this role. Your advanced Microsoft Excel skills enable you to handle complex formulae with ease. You are competent, conscientious, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible. An AAT level 4 qualification and/or being CIMA/ACCA part qualified would be advantageous. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Oracle cloud, Kronos Dimensions Time and Attendance system would also be beneficial.

- Experience with Oracle systems and Time and Attendance systems is essential
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills including being able to use complex formulae
- Competent, conscientious, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible nature
- An AAT level 4 qualification and/or CIMA/ACCA part qualified would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Oracle cloud, Kronos Dimensions Time and Attendance system would be beneficial
