Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Management Accounts Assistant for our Public Sector client.

Reporting to the Head of Management Reporting, this position will provide accounting support to the management accounts teams and the successful candidate will provide financial transaction advice and support on income, expenditure, and ledger systems.

Management Accounts Assistant - Key responsibilities:

  • Produce invoices relating to income and funding recharges
  • Lead on the co-ordination of income recharges
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Manage and provide advice on the management of income reconciliations
  • Analyse, monitor and assist with reporting key financial information on income and pay
  • Produce financial reports
  • Assist with developing systems and processes

Management Accounts Assistant - Person Specification:

  • Experience preparing accounts, budgets, forecasts, supporting schedules, and reconciliations Possession of AAT-qualified or similar accountancy training
  • Proficiency in data interpretation and variance analysis, including income, expenses, forecasts, and budgets
  • Strong technical abilities, particularly in analysing financial datasets with Office 365 (Microsoft Excel) and practical understanding of accounting software
