A highly regarded Accountancy Firm requires a Senior Accountant to join their successful team. This is a firm who retain and develop staff and always endeavours to promote from within the firm.

The vacancy

Our client is seeking an experienced manager to join this growing accountancy firm. The manager will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations managing client relationships providing technical leadership and supporting junior staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationship relationships and understanding clients needs
  • Supervising mentoring and developing junior staff giving guidance and support on client work and professional development
  • Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements tax returns and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Review work produced by junior staff
  • Provide advisory services to clients on accounting tax and other matters
  • Assist clients with complex financial issues such as tax planning
  • Assistance setting and managing departmental budgets and financial targets
  • Monitoring profitability of client engagements
  • Develop and implement internal processes to enhance service delivery and productivity

The Successful candidate

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience gained within a firm of accountants as Senior, ideally ACA/ACCA Part Qual ACA/ACCA Qualified, possess excellent communication skills in order to build successful and long term relationships with clients.
