Your new companyI am working with an established company based in Stafford who are looking for a qualified Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team.Your new roleAs a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Preparation of management accounts pack.
- Month end P&L, balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsible for overhead forecasting and budgeting.
- Support and work with the CFO on long term objectives for the department.
- Identify business opportunities to support growth and reduce costs as necessary.
- Produce 13 week weekly short term cashflow forecasts.
- General ledger maintenance including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Cash book maintenance and bank reconciliations.
- Fixed Asset register.
- VAT Returns
- Businesses partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and financial efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs.
- Supporting the year-end audit process.
- Process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What you'll need to succeedYou will be a CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with proven experience in a management accounting role, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
