A Day in the Life of a Band 5 RMN:

Join our team as an RMN and make a real difference in the lives of young offenders. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations.

  • Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans.

  • Delivering evidence-based interventions to support recovery.

  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.

  • Keeping accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards.

  • Staying up to date with the latest best practices in mental health care.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Current and valid NMC registration and PIN.

  • Experience working within a forensic or young offenders setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care.

  • Prison clearance is essential to be considered for this role.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability Monday to Friday. The contract is for 3 months ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
