The Role:
As a European Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth and forging strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Brand Ambassador – Represent and promote the company across the industry.
- Business Expansion – Identify and develop new opportunities in automotive and beyond.
- Client Engagement – Build and nurture strong relationships, delivering tailored solutions.
- Sales & Strategy – Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and help achieve EU sales targets.
- Market Insights – Analyse trends and competitors to stay ahead.
- Networking & Events – Attend key industry meetings and conferences.
- Technical Support – Assess customer samples/weld tests to provide the best solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: HND, HNC, or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or relevant business development experience).
- Experience: Proven success in business development, ideally within engineering or automotive sectors.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Communication & Organisation: Ability to engage at all levels with excellent project management skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English (German/French is a bonus).
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
