Located in the Staffordshire area, the ideal candidate will hold a PhD and haveat least three years of practical industrial experience in apaint, coatings environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate new products from concept to commercial launch.
  • Manage R&D projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate raw materials and select appropriate chemistries for formulation.
  • Collaborate with third parties and suppliers to support product development.
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct pre-production trials.
  • Work independently while also contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree or PhD in Inorganic Chemistry.
  • 3-5 years of practical industrial experience.
  • Good experience in chemical analysis using various techniques.
  • Experience in chemical formulation
  • Experience in project management.
  • Good analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Background in a manufacturing environment with technical process understanding.
  • Experience working in a GMP laboratory environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to network effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including time management and prioritisation.
  • High attention to detail, well-organized, and a strong team player.
