Specializing in B2B, exhibitions, Permanent installations and equipment hire. This company is searching for talented sales professionals to connect with event agencies, stand builders, production companies, associations, and institutions.

THE COMPANY

This newly formed company is an audio-visual company whose owner has years of experience within the field. They offer a blend of expertise and proficiency in professional audio-visual equipment.  They are looking to collaborate closely with event management companies, across the UK, enhancing their service offerings and elevating the quality of event delivery.

THE ROLE

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in this innovative company's success. Reporting to Managing Director, you'll be responsible for executing a targeted sales campaign, reaching out to senior decision-makers across various industries.

You'll be asked at their brand new offices in Staffordshire 5 days to begin with however once settled into the role they will offer flexible working with WFH options of  2 - 3 days per week!

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Building and managing an evolving list of relevant leads

-  Skillfully managing and updating the company's CRM system (Current RMS)

-  Introducing and pitching products and services through cold calling / EMAILING

-  Handling objections adeptly and guiding potential customers through the sales funnel

-  Engaging in face-to-face sales with domestic and international travel to third-party events

The role offers a good overall package, including commissions and good career progression.

THE CANDIDATE

Are you the ideal fit for this dynamic team? We are seeking an entrepreneurial, driven, and persuasive individual with a keen interest in  AV technologies . We are looking for candidates with direct Exhibition or AV sales experience, and who can confidently consult clients on the products on offer I terms of their technical specs and what they do / need them for:

The perfect candidate will possess:

- Experience in telephone-based sales and an excellent telephone manner.

- High aspirations for substantial earnings and a strong desire to progress in a sales career.

- Self-motivation and exceptional organizational skills.

-Resilience and comfort in conversing with senior decision-makers, CEOs, and managing directors.

- Strong written communication skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

- A good knowledge of current technologies, including Video walls and AV equipment.
