Principal Building Control Surveyor - Staffordshire
Rate per hour : - 70.00 PAYE or 87.15 Umbrella. 525.00 to 623.00 per day
LOC : 6 months , the role :
Ability to deliver successfully and within available resources, with a strong performance focus and clear evidence of achievement of outcomes
An appropriate recognised up to date fire regulations qualification for high rise buildings
Demonstrable experience of working with elected members in a constructive and politically sensitive manner, underpinned by a good knowledge of current local government issues.
Excellent communication and representational skills, both written and oral. Including the preparation of briefing notes.
Experience in implementing effective service delivery, including the use of relevant technology, managing budgets and other resources, working in partnership with other organisations and the successful procurement and delivery of projects.
Experience of working unsupervised on Safety at Sports Ground and Dangerous Structures
Expert Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, and its application in relation to the functions of the service area.
Relevant technical qualifications such as a degree building surveying or a combination of qualifications and experience that demonstrates an expert knowledge in the service areas functions and responsibilities.
