Senior Learning Designer – Possibl – Staffordshire, UK (Hybrid)

Possibl are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a major name in sports for a Senior Learning Designer to join their team on permanent basis (Hybrid). Working as part of a highly experienced and diverse learning team, you will have the opportunity to put your creative stamp on the role and impact a range of individual learning journeys across the organisation, from coaches up to leading sporting managers.

The role:

You will lead a team of Learning Designers to create innovative blended learning experiences that address the needs of a diverse workforce. Additionally, you will collaborate with creative, cross-functional teams to produce high-quality learning content, drive the development of the Learning Experience Platform (LXP), and leverage data to optimize learner outcomes.

Required experience & knowledge:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, education, or digital learning.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods.
  • Proven expertise in designing blended learning solutions and applying learning theories.
  • Proficiency with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)
  • Excellent creative writing and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in working with SMEs and stakeholders to create educational content, including external vendors

Desired experience:

  • Previous direct line management or workstream management experience
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline 360 and Adapt
  • Experience or passion for working within a sporting organisation and/or education setting
