Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and reconcile complex customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding debts, ensuring compliance with company credit policies.
  • Handle VAT-related queries and transactions for both UK and EU accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to resolve payment and invoicing issues.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit control performance, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation related to accounts receivable.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a credit control or similar financial role.
  • Ideally strong knowledge of VAT regulations, particularly in the context of UK and EU transactions.
  • Expertise in reconciling complex accounts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
