We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our team of staff. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years. You will assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
- Provide a safe and caring environment where children can explore and learn through play.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall operation of the setting.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Paediatric First Aid
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
- Knowledge of child development and early year's curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
