The Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Learning Support: Assist in delivering planned lessons and adjust activities to meet the diverse needs of students. You'll work closely with those who require additional support, including students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Student Well-being: Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans, supporting students' emotional and social well-being. Build strong relationships with students to effectively address their unique needs.
  • Classroom Assistance: Provide vital classroom support, ensuring lessons run smoothly and that students remain engaged and focused on their learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade 4) or equivalent.
  • Has a TA qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting.
  • Has experience supporting children, particularly those with SEN.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
