As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be working as part of a robust maintenance team, focused on electrical & technical support of the equipment across site.
Description
As the Senior Electrical Engineer you will provide support to the shift engineering team, working on mechanical & electrical equipment on both reactive & preventative maintenance, as well as:
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for planned & preventative maintenance across the site, maintaining and improving the efficiency of all production machinery.
- Providing breakdown diagnostics, resolving any issues, and escalating correctly.
- Fault finding and rectification on a variety of machinery and systems. Ensuring work is carried out accurately & safely and documented correctly.
- Working with machinery such as mixers, ovens, moulders, conveyor systems, fast flow machines, check weighers, metal check and X-ray machines.
- Playing an active role in the training and development of the engineering team, through sharing best practice and mentoring of apprentices.
4 on 4 off - 12 Hour Shifts - 2 Days 2 Nights
Profile
You will be a multi-skilled engineer/Senior Technician, ideally from an FMCG manufacturing background, as well as:
- Recognised Engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
- Electrical systems & installation experience
- CMMS & SAP experience is required
- Strong understanding of Maintenance systems - Lean principles are desirable
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety
- PLC fault-finding experience is desirable
Job Offer
£52,000 - £54,000 (Inclusive of Shift Allowance)
