Job Title: Wireman
Location: Stafford
Job Type: Contract - 1 year
Shift Pattern: Days - 7.4 HOURS PER DAY
Salary: Circa 25 P/H - Umbrella
Job Description:
You will be responsible for undertaking wiring of panels for protection and controls on electrical equipment
As Wireman/Fitter you could be subject to attending Substations so preference that you hold electrical Substation site ideally the Wireman will hold ECITB
As Wireman your duties will include the below;
- Install Mechanical assemblies into the Panels as indicated by Design Drawings
- Installation of protection relays/components into Electrical Panels and cable assemblies
- Inspection of Cubicles on arrival for Damage/ HSE Issues, Final inspection of Cubicles Prior to Dispatch
As Wireman it is essential that you hold the below;
- Preferably hold ECITB/CCNSG Safety Passport
- Willing to work away from Stafford as agreed to complete work on Site
- Good working Knowledge of Schematic Drawings , Wiring Schedules
- working knowledge of LOTO (Lock out tag out)
