New Opportunity Environmental Protection Team ManagerStaffordshire - Hybrid (at least 2 days in the office)Duration: 3 months with potential extensionFull time: 37 hours per weekRate: £55 - 60 (Umbrella) per hour (Inside IR35) Our client is looking for an experienced Environmental Protection Team Manager to:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Environmental Protection Team, ensuring compliance with Council policies and regulations
  • Oversee statutory functions including nuisance investigation, pollution control, air quality, and contaminated land regulation
  • Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team culture through effective people management and inter-service collaboration
  • Provide expert guidance on environmental health matters and represent the Council in various forums

You will also be responsible for the efficient execution of the range of duties and commensurate with the professional competence of a qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHRB registered).
