Job Description:
As a General Parts Person, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our parts inventory is well-maintained and that our customers receive the correct parts efficiently. You will work closely with other team members and customers to provide exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their needs.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts.
- Process orders and handle returns and exchanges.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Provide support to the service department by ensuring they have the necessary parts.
- Keep the parts area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a parts department or similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts when necessary.
