HR Assistant

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a proactive and solution-driven individual to join our client's HR team as a HR Assistant. This role offers the chance to support their shared service team and contribute to the maintenance of their HR systems, while reporting directly to the Site HR Advisor.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Creating various HR-related documents, including letters and case packs.
  • Administering HR documentation such as invitations, maternity/paternity letters, etc.
  • Maintaining the HR filing systems and ensuring they are up to date.
  • Scheduling meetings and answering HR-related queries.
  • Maintaining and updating HR trackers.
  • Providing general HR advice to support our Management Teams.
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Assisting with ER issues of low-level complexity, including absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
  • Supporting HR manager/Advisor with employee training needs.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new employees, including the induction process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an HR environment or relevant HR qualifications (CIPD desirable but not essential).
  • Confident communicator able to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other IT skills.
  • Experience in maintaining employee records/files.
  • Knowledge of current Employment Law.
