Red Snapper Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Staffordshire for Investigative Consultants.Offering a 6 month contract with a possible extension, at a rate of £16.50p per hour.Full time/Part time hours can be considered.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations
- Retrieve and review CCTV evidence
- Identify and interview suspects and witnesses
- Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution
- Outside enquiries and statement taking
- Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system
- Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations
Person Specification
- PIP2 qualified or time served experience
- Previous experience using HOLMES (desirable)
- Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations
- Strong understanding of CCTV analysis
- Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses
- Experience in preparing case files for prosecution
- Proficiency in relevant police IT systems
- Current vetting would be ideal
