MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

Location: StaffordSalary: £32,000 to £35,000 basic plus bonusHours: Monday to Friday 8.30-5, saturday morning on rotaOC15179

We are recruiting for an MOT Tester for our highly recognised client within the motor industry. You will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests in line with set standards and requirements, ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality are maintained for customers.You will also be required to advise customers on the outcome of their tests and any remedial work that may be required to pass the test. You will also be required to do service work when required

MOT Tester Main responsibilities:* Carrying out MOT tests to the highest of standards, ensuring accuracy and safety* Advising customers on the outcome of their tests, and any remedial work that may be required* Ensuring all paperwork is fully completed and up to date* Maintaining a good working relationship with customers* Maintaining a high level of customer service* Following all Health & Safety regulations

MOT Tester Technical skills and qualifications:* Relevant MOT testing qualification* Proven experience working in a similar role* Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics* Good communication and customer service skills* Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines* Ability to work as part of a team* Ability to work on own initiative* Full UK driving licence
