Role Overview:

As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards by conducting thorough and accurate MOT tests. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about vehicle safety and providing excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnose any issues that may affect roadworthiness.
Complete all required documentation and ensure records are up to date.
Provide clear, accurate reports on test results and advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Work efficiently and effectively to ensure a smooth workflow and minimal vehicle downtime.
Keep up to date with changes in MOT regulations and standards.

Skills & Experience:

Fully qualified MOT Tester (class 4, 5, or 7).
Previous experience in MOT testing and vehicle inspections.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify mechanical and safety issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to quality service.
