Technical Inspector / Building Surveyor required four our client; one of the leading housing associations that employ over 1000 members of staff in the UK, that mainly provide homes across Staffordshire and Shropshire. They now have an opportunity for a Technical Inspector to join the the team in Staffordshire.
Technical Inspector / Maintenance SurveyorDuties
- Conducting in depth technical domestic building surveys and inspections
- Identify and report on building defects
- Identify repair and maintenance requirements and plan for work to be carried out
- Create detailed specifications on required maintenance and repair works
- Check over recent repair works
Technical Inspector / Maintenance Surveyor Requirements
- Hold relevant HNC in Constructionof Building Surveying qualifications
- Previous experince in the detecting defects within domestic properties
- Knowledge of environmental and property legislations
- Understanding and knowledge of domestic property health and safety regulations
- Previous experience working within social housing is advantageous
Technical Inspector / Maintenance SurveyorRemuneration
- Salary 37,000 - 40,000
- Company Vehicle
- Monday - Friday (37hour week)
- Hybrid working available
- Sick pay
- 25Days Holiday + BH (Rising by 1 day per year to a max of 30)
