Stock Condition Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a regional Housing Association who are looking to recruit a permanent Stock Condition Surveyor to cover their Staffordshire patch. This role offers £38,000 plus generous mileage at 60ppm paid from home. The organisation has an excellent benefits package including a competitive pension scheme and 28 days annual leave + 3 shut down days at Christmas + bank holidays.

Stock Condition Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Role:

  • Complete stock condition surveys of Group properties, estates and other assets against set criteria, specifically the Decent Homes Standard (DHS) and the Housing Health Safety Rating System (HHSRS) as well as any standards set by the organisation
  • Plan programmes of survey work to ensure that the Group secures the maximum business intelligence from the rolling survey process
  • Carry out energy surveys to be in line with SAP for the provision of EPC’s where required, as well as for other purposes such as funding opportunities
  • Update the stock condition database to ensure information held is accurate and up to date, keeping accurate records for sequential, subsequent surveys

Stock Condition Surveyor – Housing Association – What You Need:

  • Experience in surveying in a Social Housing setting
  • HND / HNC or equivalent qualification in Building or Construction is desirable
  • data handling and analytical skills
