JA1362 - Instrument Pipe-fitter Location - Eccleshall, ST15, Staffordshire + Regular UK TravelType - Permanent Hours - 36.5 hours Salary - £40,851.20 (Earnings up to £65,000) + company Van (business use only)Overview:We are currently recruiting for an Instrument Pipe-fitter to join our clients growing business within the industrial gas sector. All candidates are require to live within a 60 minute commute of the client's depot in Eccleshall ST15.Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain piping systems for instrumentation and control processes within the industrial gas industry.
  • Fabricate and fit pipes according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues within piping systems and related instrumentation.
  • Perform pressure tests and other performance tests to ensure system reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all tasks.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support project needs and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Instrument Pipe Fitter
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control piping systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Relevant technical certification.

  • Full, Clean Driving license
  • City & Guilds Basic Engineering and Engineering Systems Competence
