CAD Technician
Location: Stafford
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
An opportunity has opened for a CAD Technician to join a manufacturing company based in Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience of 2D and 3D CAD design within the manufacturing or construction industry and will have good knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor.
What they’re looking for:
- Experience working as a CAD Technician or similar
- AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience
- Inventor experience
- Experience in design for manufacture
- Manufacturing, construction or building services industry experience
- Any architectural experience would be a bonus
CAD Technician Responsibilities:
- Working with the design team helping model and design new products
- Using AutoCAD 2D and 3D as well as Inventor
- Some Revit and BIM work – will be trained on the job
- Adjust and change current designs
- Helping with designing layouts of rooms
- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure correct materials are used
- Documentation
