What You Will Do

  • Perform inspections and tests to monitor environmental, health, and safety issues, ensuring adherence to regulations and company practices.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training on EHS guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of EHS records, policies, and procedures.
  • Support site-wide learning and development activities, including the creation and delivery of training material.
  • Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Complete EHS, ISO 14001, and security audits in alignment with site processes and policies.

What You Will Bring

  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance with knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies
  • A minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent; Membership of IOSH preferred.
  • Proven experience in an EHS role, demonstrating a strong understanding of EHS regulations and compliance.
  • Level Working Knowledge or PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments, PUWER, Legal Requirements, Training, Waste Management, Sustainability, Contractor management, Cranes and lifting devices, Incident management, MHE, LOTO and high risk activity e.g working at height
  • Excellent process management and development skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Essential to have powerpoint and excel
  • Member of IOSH is desirable. If already a member or want to become a member, business will pay the monthly fee.
