Job Title: Porter

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in the public sector? Look no further! Our public sector client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a DBS check and must be able to provide us with reference details for the past 3 years as minimum, along with full employment history.

This is a physical role that involves a lot of walking around the site to provide support to various departments.

Contract Details:

  • Temporary ongoing position, with the view to be extended.
  • Full-time working pattern- Monday-Friday 9:30AM-5:30PM.
  • Competitive hourly rate starting from 11.44PH.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality portering services for Pharmacy department.
  • Assist in the movement of equipment and supplies throughout the premises.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, offering help and guidance to staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Ensure that all areas are kept clean, tidy, and organised.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, following protocols and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and friendly attitude, with a keen eye for detail.
