About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Interim WMS Testing Manager to lead and oversee the testing phase of a warehouse management system (WMS) implementation for a leading organisation in the Midlands. This critical role requires a professional with a deep understanding of WMS systems, strong testing expertise, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for the WMS implementation.
- Lead the end-to-end testing process, including unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, developers, and operational teams to ensure testing requirements are met.
- Identify, document, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.
- Ensure the WMS meets business needs, operational requirements, and quality standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience managing WMS testing projects in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of WMS platforms and associated processes.
- Expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.
